MY STORY

I GREW UP IN THE HUMAN EXPERIENCE
I’m the proud son of two value-driven parents, raised in the heart of New Orleans—a city that celebrates life. I love to laugh, dive into deep conversations, cook, and dance. But most of all, I value the people around me.

My career, however, was defined by a specific type of frustration. Like too many, I’ve been the employee who’s been kicked in the pants. I know the alienation of working under self-centered leaders and losing my zest for life as a result.
But that frustration didn't just make me tired. It made me curious. It drove me to grad school in my late 40s to research the dynamics of leadership.

I’m a simple dude with a clear mission to help people recognize leadership as people-centered and as a process. No, I’ve never been a corporate CEO or a college president. But you don’t have to be a master chef to know when the Gumbo is spoiled. My experiences as an employee and a citizen drove me to become the leader—and the strategist—I always wanted.

This is my North Star—my raison d'être.
It's the Creole Trinity in my cooking.
It's what keeps me up at night and gets me out of bed in the morning.

Today, I help leaders find their voice. Coaching, workshops, and keynote speaking are my tools to provide the accountability architecture to help build high-performance teams with the foundations of self-awareness, followership, and trust.
I don't just talk about leadership.
I help build it with the human experience in mind.
