ETHICAL LEADERSHIP SPEAKING

I help leaders build profitable organizations through radical self-honesty.

Because ethical leadership isn't about what you say to stakeholders, it's about the truth you're willing to tell yourself first

WHAT'S THE PROBLEM?

LEADERS MUST BE CLEAR ON THEIR PRIORITIES TO SUCCEED

"Clarity paralysis" slows down the organization!

THERE IS A GROWING NEED FOR CONFIDENT, ACCOUNTABLE LEADERS

Leaders who lack self-awareness stall team success by increasing stress and decreasing motivation.

EGO CAN BE MUCH MORE THAN A "PERSONAL" PROBLEM

Self-absorbed leadership often blocks sound decision-making.

WHAT ARE YOU HIRING ME TO DO?
I promote TRUST to help you get the most out of yourself and your people!

LEAD BY LEADING YOU
TRANSFORMING SELF-AWARENESS INTO YOUR STRATEGIC ADVANTAGE
The most transformative leadership begins with getting brutally honest about your own narrative.
That's my story as a leader who struggled with undiagnosed ADHD. Through it all, I leaned into my intellectual curiosity, invested in my professional development, and kept myself aligned with the big picture to benefit both myself and the organization.
What your teams will walk away with:
  • Why self-awareness is more than a competitive advantage; it's the first commandment of leadership.
  • The mindset to build a personal brand that will gain their leaders' confidence.
  • How personal growth and development lead to meeting business goals faster.

THE STURDY BRIDGE
CONNECTING MANAGER EXPECTATIONS AND TEAM TRUST
Leadership doesn't happen in a vacuum. Every leader needs their team so that they can meet their goals. At the same time, teams that trust their leaders in order to perform at a high level.
Quality communication sparks team collaboration. Successful teams are the foundation for organizational success.
This talk will help your leaders and their teams understand:
  • The team leader as the culture creator.
  • "Follower power" as the culture contributor.
  • The team leader and the team's connection as engines for performance and advancement that makes everyone look good.

FROM CRISIS TO CATALYST
THE SECRET MEETING THAT SAVED A UNIVERSITY
This is the story of my greatest PR challenge...and victory--when strategic communications met ethical leadership. In 2011, my then-employer was on the verge of possible closure due to a legislative bill.
But a secret meeting that I hosted with a nonpartisan organization changed everything for the better.

You and your leaders will learn:
  • Why your organization's reputation is about more than the entity; it's about every employee's future.
  • How to maintain the confidence of your stakeholders.
  • The art of strategic risk-taking during an existential threat.

Close the gap between leadership and the members of your student organization. This session reframes how students understand their impact in their organizations or fraternity or sorority chapters, whether they hold a title or not.

Drawing on leadership theory and team development frameworks, participants will explore:

  • The leader-follower dynamic. Examine what followers contribute to team success and how different leadership approaches shape member engagement.

  • Five follower types. Learn the diverse roles people play, from self-starters and active participants to reserved members and resisters. Understand how each type influences team culture.

  • Group dynamics in action. Apply the "Gumbo Theory" to see how diverse personalities blend, manage conflict, and move through the stages of team formation and maintenance.

Students will be left with practical insights to strengthen their organizations from any position!

Being part of a Divine Nine fraternity or sorority gives its members an incredible platform to lead, but letters don't automatically convert into effective leadership.

This culturally relevant program combines personal stories and leadership research to reveal the blueprint for leading with intention and creating a lasting impact to honor Divine Nine members' legacy of leadership and change.

Backed by a combination of real-world experience and academic theory, here's what participants will learn.

  • The research-backed definition of leadership and how it can be applied to the culture of the Divine Nine.

  • Why self-awareness is the "leadership first commandment" and how it should be applied to D9 membership.

  • How to collaborate more effectively as links in a chain within chapters or across NPHC chapters using the Five Follower Types model and Eddie Francis's "Gumbo Theory."
